The new ADU laws offer a variety of options for homebuyer and multi-family investors to take advantage of to increase the value and functionality of their properties.
- For homebuyers, you are able to add up to 2 units to your property via an ADU and JADU (Junior ADU).
- For multi-family investors, you can convert spaces to create 1 unit for every 4 existing units (minimum 1), in addition to creating up to 2 new construction units in open space.
