Bringing an entrepreneurial and opportunistic approach, Kyle Young has a wide range of residential and commercial real estate expertise as both a principal and representative.  Drawing on this experience, Kyle helps his clients achieve their goals.

Beginning his career in property management, Kyle gained a true understanding of how residential properties operate—from tenant complaints, to pest control problems, and midnight flooding, Kyle has dealt with it all.  Overseeing a portfolio of over 2,300 residential units and a staff of over 100 employees, Kyle’s work experience in management and operational best practices has been tested and consequently advanced over the years.

After overseeing more than $100M in multi-family acquisitions and facilitating over $125M in multi-family refinances in the small multi-family (2-50 units) space in Los Angeles, Kyle recognized an opportunity to provide advisory, brokerage, and management services for independent property owners.

Since 2016, 3L Properties, Inc. has been servicing clients in the areas of brokerage representation, property management, and owner’s representation in construction consulting services.

Via 3L Properties, Kyle has also completed a number of single-family home renovation projects in the West Los Angeles area.  These projects exercise Kyle’s skills as a project leader, manager, and facilitator overseeing construction.  Additionally, Kyle’s design and underwriting abilities, specifically in the area of maximizing rental value for a particular space or apartment, are one of the greater services he offers to property owners.

Now, in 2020, with the creation of the new California Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Laws, 3L Properties is specifically focused on helping both single-family and multi-family property owners add ADUs to their properties to maximize both the rental income and value of their properties.

Kyle lives in Westchester with his wife, Angelique, not far from where they met as undergraduates at Loyola Marymount University, where she now teaches as a Professor of Composition.  Their two pups, Riley and Ruckus, keep them active throughout West LA.
